Udvartanam is a dynamic powder-based scrub. During the session, an abhyanga massage is performed beforehand. Then, the application of herbal powder or gram flour to the area will allow friction and exfoliation of the skin with quick, upward movements. At the end of the session, a sweating session is performed to eliminate toxins and fat cells through perspiration.
Indication: Reduces Kapha, fat and cellulite. Improves skin texture. Weight loss with proper diet (for a personalized program, consult us).
Shirodhara.
60€ - 60mins
Dhara refers to a flow. During shirodhara, the shoulders, neck, and head are massaged. Then, you receive a drizzle of warm oil on the forehead area, bringing mental relaxation, reduced restlessness, and better sleep.
The applied oil can be reused 7 times. It is recommended to do several sessions for greater effectiveness.
Contraindication: severe depression
Nasya Care
60€ - 60mins
Nasya is the act of instilling oil into each nostril. It is preceded by Shiro Abhyanga head massage and Karnapuram, which is the application of oil to the ears.
Then, the person receives a facial massage, Mukha Abhyanga, focusing on the sinus area, followed by the application of hot towels. This last procedure is repeated several times and helps to liquefy the excess ama in the sinuses.
Nasya will then be administered. In order to loosen and evacuate the mucus, a mouthwash will be used. It treats imbalances in the nervous, respiratory, and immune systems (allergies), as well as dryness or excessive moisture in the ENT tract.
Janu Basti
60€ - 60mins
The word janu refers to the knees. This procedure is performed to strengthen the knee structure, i.e., the muscles and joints. The person sits in a comfortable position with both legs extended.
The mold is placed on one or both knees. Then, oil, at the appropriate temperature, is poured inside the mold. Keep it there for about 30 to 40 minutes. The oil remains warm throughout the procedure. Finally, the paste is removed and the area is gently massaged. The person is asked to rest for a while.
Kati Basti
60€ - 60mins
The word Kati refers to the lower back. The procedure of applying heat to the sacral or lumbar region while keeping warm medicated oil is known as 'Kati Basti'. People who have a constant standing posture and lack of physical exercise can lead to lower back pain. Basti increases joint lubrication.
The oil contained becomes deeply absorbed into the skin, nourishing and strengthening the muscles and nerves. This special technique aims to provide relief by bathing the lower back for twenty to fifty minutes. Warm oil is poured into the mold. This warm oil heats the affected area and is followed by a gentle massage applied locally.
