"I do not seek to know the answers, I seek to understand the questions."— Confucius
Welcome to my world
My name is Maureen Esivert-Viremouneix. Since 2021, I have been teaching yoga to people of all ages and backgrounds.
In 2021, I founded the association Du souffle au choeur in Arveyres to provide yoga and musical awareness classes.
I work in various social structures, including the Tandem association, a foster home for children and adolescents with unusual and difficult life paths. In 2025, I founded my own structure, D'âme et d'Aum, located in Arveyres in Gironde, very close to Libourne. For more than three years, I have been providing Ayurvedic massages.
Today, I welcome you for consultations, assessments, treatments and Ayurvedic massages in my new office. Certified yoga teacher and Ayurveda practitioner, I accompany people towards their own internal attunement & balance; acting on the physical, energetic, psychic & possibly spiritual levels. In the yogic & Ayurvedic approach to the balance of the person, everything is interdependent: our body, our mind, our breath, the elements (air, space, fire, water & earth); our energy, the energies that flow through us, our relationships with other beings, as well as the relationship we have with our mind.
The tools I use in my various practices propose to adapt as closely as possible to your needs (which we can also try to uncover together!) according to your constitution, age, imbalance, period or event in your life; to find and support a healthy existence, full of joy, vitality and lightness! You may thus be able to discover that certain beliefs or habits are not respectively absolute or immutable! For people affected by consequent imbalances with heavy treatments, we can at least ensure to soften and soothe the collateral damage with adapted care. You will find in the tabs My services and Practices and approaches more details on my approach and the tools I use.
A few words about my journey...
My path has guided me from artistic creation to the path of Indo-Tibetan yoga & Ayurveda through paths that I will briefly outline to you.
My professional life began artistically around the age of 20, alongside university studies in sociology, then literature and civilization.
I ended up choosing the musical path.
After traveling the roads as a saxophonist in various formations, and studying in the jazz department of the Paris 9 conservatory as well as at the prestigious Bill Evans School studying singing, orchestration, composition; I became interested very early in musical pedagogy. During my training in this field, I began teaching in schools and associations; and continued for ten years.
I then took a break from teaching to devote myself to musical composition and the creation of shows.
At the same time, I continue to train:
stage expression, Feldenkrais method, sophrology, systemic constellations, &…yoga. My intuition about what the body conveys in all its dimensions is confirmed, & becomes a central point in my practice & my teaching. And of course the prima, the awareness and the mastery of the breath as a common thread of these disciplines, creating the bridge between our body, our mind and our quality of presence.
From artistic practice to the art of yoga.
At the end of 2017, unenviable symptoms of an autoimmune disease began to appear. On the advice of my GP at the time, whom I thank again and again, I joined a yoga class. It was early 2018.
I start with a rather dynamic practice called Vinyasa. But I feel I need to adopt a practice in which I have to be more in tune with my body to begin with, as if the asanas (postures) had secrets to deliver to me. A wind of wisdom turns me towards hatha yoga, and I meet Laurent Sindrès, Yogacaria (yoga master). My initiatory journey begins.
Between 2018 and 2022, I was initiated and followed a hatha yoga teacher training course with my master. During this training, we must engage in the experience of the sadhaka, namely following the strategy offered by the discipline of hatha yoga while questioning its necessity along the way.
At the same time, I went to India, the cradle of yogic philosophy, but also of Ayurveda.
I practice hatha yoga there and follow a 3-week Ayurvedic Pancha Karma cure (the cure of 5 actions to restore the body and rebalance our doshas).
From yoga to Ayurveda
Following this treatment in India which I must say put the fuels back in a state of performance, and with the hygiene of life that the practice and teaching of yoga requires; I am more and more interested in this ancestral Indian medicine. What gave me confidence was the real intention of healing of the doctor and his colleagues towards their patients, praying for you before each treatment to establish the connection with your soul. But not only that… Ayurveda does not offer you an immutable method that applies to everyone in the same way with medical diktat. No, in its principle, it is a medicine at the service of the human in all its dimensions, well aware of the specificity of each one. So yes, it requires listening, questioning, follow-up, and a certain discipline so that the person truly becomes an actor in their health.
So I practice Ayurveda on myself, my son, and it keeps us healthy with less fluctuating energy, a zest for life, and some big clouds that call us to order from time to time, but which we welcome and eventually accept.
Then, after several years of teaching yoga, I trained as an Ayurveda practitioner at the Ayurveda Center of Aquitaine, with which I collaborate and continue to learn healing techniques.
Thus, my introspection and my training in yoga over the years, coupled with my practice of Ayurveda, happily bring me to meet you today, with the desire and the need to share these sacred sciences.
I am also passionate about living things, particularly our relationship with the plant world.
Working the land also gives me a sense of connection to our natural environment, a sense of being fully alive, and the joys of observing our ecosystem. I have thus had the opportunity to work for the past two years, at a fortunate time in my life, on an organic market gardening farm developing agroforestry and protecting biodiversity. There, too, I have fulfilled a need for strength, balance, courage, and grounding.
Still on the way...To meet the specific needs of women who have lived with breast cancer, I am training in September 2025 at the De Gasquet Institute in a specific module on the subject. Always in search of knowledge on the expansion of states of consciousness and the increase of subtle perceptive abilities; I am now training in the remote perception method of Controlled Remote Viewing, with Nathalie Bentolila, a French reference in the field. As Colette said: "The hour of the end of discoveries never rings." And if you want to know, I continue to sing; sometimes on stage, but especially in my yoga classes, before and after each treatment; to vibrate, to make you vibrate; always with the intention of reuniting us.
Walk towards yourself, better understand the World, the Living, the Subtle...
